BR-DE-19warning

How to fix BR-DE-19

"Payment account identifier" (BT-84) soll eine korrekte IBAN enthalten, wenn in "Payment means type code" (BT-81) mit dem Code 58 SEPA als Zahlungsmittel gefordert wird.

XRechnung rule from the KoSIT XRechnung 3.0 schematron (German CIUS of EN 16931). It applies only to invoices whose specification identifier (BT-24) is XRechnung. Such files are checked against EN 16931 and the KoSIT XRechnung rules instead of the full Peppol BIS rule set. Check your file with the XRechnung validator.

What this rule checks

When the Payment means type code (BT-81) is 58 (SEPA credit transfer), the Payment account identifier (BT-84) should be a valid IBAN. The rule checks the format and the IBAN check digits.

How to fix it

Put a valid IBAN without spaces in cac:PaymentMeans → cac:PayeeFinancialAccount → cbc:ID. In CII, use ram:PayeePartyCreditorFinancialAccount → ram:IBANID. If the account is not an IBAN, use code 30 instead of 58.
