How to fix BR-DE-CVD-03

XRechnung rule from the KoSIT XRechnung 3.0 schematron (German CIUS of EN 16931). It applies only to invoices whose specification identifier (BT-24) is XRechnung. Such files are checked against EN 16931 and the KoSIT XRechnung rules instead of the full Peppol BIS rule set. Check your file with the XRechnung validator.

What this rule checks

A CVD (Clean Vehicles Directive) invoice must contain at least one invoice line (BG-25) that identifies a vehicle: an Item classification identifier (BT-158) with scheme CVD and an item attribute (BT-160) named cva.

How to fix it

On the vehicle line, add cac:Item → cac:CommodityClassification → cbc:ItemClassificationCode with listID="CVD" (e.g. M1) and cac:AdditionalItemProperty with cbc:Name = cva and cbc:Value = clean, zero-emission or other. In CII, use ram:DesignatedProductClassification → ram:ClassCode listID="CVD" and ram:ApplicableProductCharacteristic with ram:Description = cva.
