How to fix PEPPOL-EN16931-R043-1
Allowance/charge ChargeIndicator value MUST equal 'true' or 'false'.
XRechnung rule from the KoSIT XRechnung 3.0 schematron (German CIUS of EN 16931). It applies only to invoices whose specification identifier (BT-24) is XRechnung. Such files are checked against EN 16931 and the KoSIT XRechnung rules instead of the full Peppol BIS rule set. Check your file with the XRechnung validator.
What this rule checks
KoSIT adopted Peppol rule R043 into the XRechnung CII schematron and split it in two. R043-1 checks document-level and line-level allowances and charges (ram:SpecifiedTradeAllowanceCharge): the charge indicator must be exactly 'true' (charge) or 'false' (allowance). Values such as '1', '0', 'yes' or an empty indicator fail.
How to fix it
In each ram:SpecifiedTradeAllowanceCharge, set ram:ChargeIndicator → udt:Indicator to exactly true for a charge or false for an allowance.
