How to fix PDF-04
More than one invoice XML is embedded
A check of the PDF of a ZUGFeRD or Factur-X invoice, not of its XML. It runs when you upload a PDF; the embedded XML then gets the XSD and EN 16931 checks (XRechnung: also the KoSIT rules). Check your PDF with the ZUGFeRD validator or the Factur-X validator. What the PDF check covers.
What this rule checks
The PDF embeds more than one file with an invoice XML name. A ZUGFeRD or Factur-X PDF holds exactly one invoice XML, so a receiver cannot tell which one is the invoice. The one named in the XMP DocumentFileName is checked.
How to fix it
Embed only one invoice XML. Other attachments (for example a timesheet) must not use an invoice XML file name.
